This is Kathy from Hong Kong, a member from the Tsing Yi ward where your sons, daughters or friends serving in~ I invited 6 of them for a dinner tonight in my home, i took a picture for them and promise i will send it to you! they just leave 10 mins ago after leaving me a spiritual thought. I want to let you know how wonderful they are as a missionary in HK~ their Cantonese is excellent!! and the whole night we spoke Cantonese to each other~ I know they are great missionaries & i tell you with all my heart! I just love them! And i am so glad they come to my home tonight and share with me their experiences and scriptures. I just can't stop saying how wonderful they are as instrucment of the Lord. Thanks for supporting them while they're serving. Please keep writing to them and i know your letters or emails are precious to them. I hope you enjoy the pictures i have attached. They are serving in my ward and members just love them! I am glad the Lord sent them to Hong Kong. This sure a wonderful place for wonderful missionaries. Enjoy & Take care,

Well this week has been a good one and things are going pretty good. Uummm not much happened this week but there are some things i guess that were fun. on tuesday we had some fun Soap box preaching in May Foo. Soap Box is always alot of fun yelling the plan of salvation anyone that would listen Its never been the most effictive thing to do but it really helps people get over there fears of speaking. E Arthur liked it alot he said that he was scared to death and really didn't want to do it but as he got up on the chair he just did his best and when he got down he had a lot a energy and adrinalin and the spirit he was on fire for about an hour after that. We also taught more lessons in a week then i have ever before in Chinese work so that was a really good. Right now we have a bunch of new investagators that are really good and are progressing along pretty good most of them heard two lessons last week and are now moveing along good in getting there testomonys it great to watch them grow in the gosple i think that that is one of my favorite things to see in the missionary work is the spirtual growth in these people. becouse there spiritaul self is next to nothing and then the spirit just explodes in them and when they are humble enough to feel it and reconize it they just grow so fast.Well I can't believe its already Feb. with each mouth i relieze more and more the ergent the work really is and how sort the time is I cant believe it. Well i got a package last week with a bunch of Cds and a tie that was really happly recieved thank you for that.(Oh mom with the Ties I'm not a Old man try to get a little bit younger looking ties but thank you for the last one it goes good with a new pair of pants that i got so thanks) I think that that is the only package as of the last little while thanks. So you finally going to get dan out of the house Where is there apartment at? well speaking of school can you see if you can some how find out about Southern Virgaina U and how good that school really is and what kind of schalorships i could get. and then BYU and USU i need to start thinking about where i want to go and that stuff. well I think that that is about all i got for this week so i hope all is well at home and i love you guys

well this week is going pretty good and things are going good. well yesterday we had our interviews with presdent Ong. Well it went good but i think that Pres.Ong is set on me being dislexic. Today i get to go to the Mission Srink to see what she can do to help and see what we can do to help it out. He also wants me to get tested for it in i get home so if i do i can get compisasion at school when i get home. Im not sure what you wrote in the letter to the presdent at the beging of my mission but pres. ong really like it and alway refers back to it. The rest of the work is going good we got some new investagators this week that have really good potental. One of them we found on monday and have taught him twice since then and he is doing good we just have to get him to church and than it will be good. The rest of the other investagator are doing good hopfully we have a Guy ready for the 6th of Feb. That would be really good to get that. Oh the man that we baptised of Christmas is getting the priesthood of Sun HE is so excited and just so happy. Last week when he came out of the interview with the bisphop he was almost dancing and just so ecited to get the priesthood he is such a stud that family is just awesome if all i got to do on my mission was to see that family change like they have that would be enough but i am so glad that i get to do so much more. well thats about all from Hong Kong Oh one cool thing is that Junea that i baptised in Discovery Bay well her sister came to hong kong for about a mouth and the elder taught her but before she could get baptized she had to go to Tailand it would be cool if she went to the same city that brennen is in just a thought. but it would be cool. Well you think that after mom said that she was steping up the mail it would last more then two weeks but what more can i ask then a email once a week from anyone at home it really only takes 5 min before you go to bed on any given night to show your son or brother that you are at least thinking about him and are willin to show your support for the sacrifice of his time and effort to bring Your brothers and sisters to the truth of the gosple that we all enjoy. I promise you that you will feel more peace and peace of mind when you have write me you will feel a gratification to know that you are helping in a small way the work of the lord move forward. I hope that you are picked in the heart and will repent of your short comings and change i promise you greater blessings as you fullfill your resposiblitys as the family of one of the Lord's called servents. As for me it was a good week it was a rollercoaster from the begining it was just one of those weeks that you just wanted to get over so you could start over. but about half way through some good things happened and my view on many things changed and the work picked up again. on monday we had 24 hrs exchages like we do everyweek i went to Kwai Fong over on the Kowloon side with E johnson and we had a good day we did alot of finding and taught alot of good lessons to some strange people. and we played b-ball with some soke soke's "old people" it was funny and we had fun. then we taught a man that had been put up in the lunny bin for some time all he talked about how the people put him in a stright jacket and stuff like that he was a goof. well than on tuesday we had Zone find and i went with E steele and as we went finding we ran between contacts when there was noone around we would run till we got to the next person it was really good i really felt that there is an ergunsiy about the work. well when we got back to Tsing Yi E Arther and i started ur own "running Contacting" and it went really good the people really reacted to it and we got alot of good contacts just becouse we were running and the people thought that we were really ergent about tell people and going some where wer would tell them that the messege was so important that we didn't have time to walk so we would run. it reminds me of something a prophet once said that " I would run door to door then when i could not run i would walk and when i could not walk i would crawl and when i could not crawl i would shout" the work is too important to think it is ok to just go through the motions it all or nothing. It was a great lessen to me and one that i willl take through my hole life. The rest of the week went good. Yesterday we had Mission Conf. it was really good. the Lord perpared me the day before for what i would learn at Conf. On Tues. we had comp inventory and we were talking about what we could do to help our finding. well we got the revalation to start shareing the strengh of youth and the proclamtion on the family well we got this all set up and ready to go. Then we went to mission conf and the Asst. Trained on how to use the Strenght for Youth and THe Proclamtion on the Family. it was really cool i know that the lord it leading and prepare us every day in our work for we are his chosen and set apart servents in his great and eternal work. i love this work and the meaning miricle and revalations that come in it. Oh at conf. we talked alot about family history i hope that we are doing our part and getting our names done and getting to the temple often. and if we are not then put away your pride and humble yourself and put the kingdom of heaven first no matter how busy you think you are the lord dosn't care to hear and see us make excusese for not getting to the temple. I go once every 6 weeks i hope you do twice as good as that. and take jake to do baptism!!! i would love to get a 4 or 5 generation ped. cart to show people thank. oh and one more thing on my pristhood authity order who comes after Dad cuz grandpa isn't on mine. I just didn't know if he was on there or not. Well i Love You All and talk to you next week.

well its been a long week with pday on last tuesday. but we made it through with out to much trouble. well this week has been filled with alot of finding on the streets and that kind of stuff. but it was good we found some new investagators and looks like things will be on the rise for the rest of this moves. Last week we were suposed to have Luis get baptised but he didn't show up for church we tried getting a hold of him all day but he wouldn't answer his phone. so the day went on like most sundays but after we ate dinner we had about 30 min of prosoliting time left so we went out and were on the way back as we were going in i got prompted to go out for 5 more mins well in those five min we found Luis walking around the park. we talked to him and found out that he has been out all day thinking about everthing and was really trying to find it all out. well we reset his date for the 16th and he should be good for that day. We also found a new Kid named Rock he is really good and has a baptisum date for Feb 6 so he is looking good as of now he has gotten answers to his prayers and know its all true. But he has a Parent concern he isnt sure that his family will let him get baptised so we will have to work with him on that. well the rest of the stuff is just pretty much the same. It was really cold last week but its warmed up again so thats good uuummm well i think that thats about it. I doing good and spirits are high. thanks for getting the stuff for me that will be good love you all and good luck with everything this week love ya
