Scott and Ronda were married on the 25th of August 1978 in the Manti, Utah temple. They have four sons and a daughter, Dan, Darek, Mike, Jake and Jerusha. They live in Alpine, Utah. Scott is the Executive Director of the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation.

In 2004 Ronda went to Mt. Everest base camp. Here are some of the picture from Everest.
